Three Days in Washington
Washington state is a pretty big state, and it is at the corner of the Pacific Northwest. With so much space, it can be hard to do and see everything in only a few days, but sometimes you don’t have much of a choice.
Let’s take a look at the things you absolutely must do if you find yourself in Washington state for three days.
Go On a Day Cruise
While you might not have the time to hop of a cruise ship that goes all the way up to Alaska, there are plenty of small cruise ships and ferries that dock outside of Seattle. On these small cruises, you’ll be able to get out on the open water and see more of the fantastic wildlife around the state.
Visit Historic Market Street in Seattle
Market Street is home to tons of different shops and the world-famous Pike Place Market. If you find yourself in Seattle with some time to spare, you should definitely stroll down the street and take in the sights and sounds. Even if you don’t plan to buy anything, it’s still a great opportunity to absorb Seattle’s unique and quirky culture.
Follow the Music
Seattle is known for birthing some of the world’s most famous bands from the 90’s. The music scene in Seattle is still strong, and no matter what time of the week it is, you’re bound to find an awesome act playing. Who knows – it might be the next big star!
See Mt. Rainier
This adventure can take an entire day but it is well worth the time invested. Mount Rainier National Park is home to an active volcano along with tons of glaciers and other wildlife sights. If you want some fresh air and a break from the city, this is the place to go.
